About
Meet Brian Samu
Founder of Samu Interactive
Hi, I'm Brian Samu. Since 2014 I have been helping businesses get more done in less time through custom web development, and in 2022 I started Samu Interactive to do that for South Jersey companies specifically. I design and build the site, and I run the search work behind it, so there is one person accountable for whether the thing actually works.

How I Help South Jersey Businesses
Samu Interactive is a web design and SEO studio in Tabernacle, New Jersey. I build custom websites and ecommerce stores, and run the SEO behind them, for small and mid-sized companies across South Jersey and Burlington County. Most of the work centers on one thing: automating the manual, repetitive tasks that eat up your team's time, so the business runs smoother and you can focus on growth instead of busywork.
Off-the-shelf tools force you to bend your business around their limits. I take the opposite approach and build around how you actually work, integrating with the systems you already use and automating the specific processes that slow you down, whether that is quoting, lead capture, scheduling, inventory, or reporting.
What Working Together Looks Like
It starts with a conversation, not a contract
Every project starts with a free consultation to understand what you are actually trying to fix. You do not need a spec or a wireframe, and you do not need the budget worked out to the dollar. What comes back is a fixed, itemized proposal with the scope, the timeline, and the price written down, so you know the full cost before any work begins. That number does not move unless you ask for something new, and if you do, you see a revised number before I build it.
You talk to the person doing the work
There is no account manager relaying messages and no offshore team you never meet. From the first call through launch and after, you are talking to the person writing the code. That is the main practical difference between a studio this size and an agency, and it is why a small change usually takes a reply rather than a ticket.
The site and the search work are the same job
Most agencies split these two. The design shop hands over a site it will not maintain, and the SEO firm sends a list of fixes it cannot apply. Because I do both, structure, speed, and Core Web Vitals get handled during the build rather than bolted on afterwards, and when an audit turns up something broken it gets fixed rather than filed. There is more detail on the SEO services page.
You own everything at the end of it
Your domain, your hosting, your code, your content. I do not build on a proprietary system only I can edit, and I do not register your domain under my account. If you ever want to take the work somewhere else you can, and I will help you move it.
What I Build With
Custom sites and web applications are built in code rather than assembled from a page builder, which is what makes them fast and what makes them possible to change later. For ecommerce I work on Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom platform depending on what the business actually needs, and I will say plainly when the cheaper option is the right one. When the job is really software rather than a site, quoting, scheduling or inventory, it becomes a custom web application. When it has to live on a phone, with notifications or offline access, it becomes a mobile app, built cross-platform so one codebase serves both stores. For clients handling sensitive information I build to HIPAA-compliant standards. Backups and disaster recovery are part of the build, not an upsell after something goes wrong.
If you already have a site, that is often the better starting point. When the existing build is maintainable I would rather improve it than talk you into a rebuild you do not need. When it genuinely is the ceiling, I will show you why rather than assert it, and handle it as a website redesign that carries your rankings across. See web design for how the build itself works, or the portfolio for finished projects.
Who This Suits
This is a good fit if you want a website that does a job rather than one that just exists, and if you would rather talk to the person building it than open a ticket. It is a poor fit if you need a page one guarantee, because nobody can honestly give you one, or if you are shopping purely on price, because that is a real market and I do not compete in it.
Being in Tabernacle matters less for the building work, which happens anywhere, and quite a lot for knowing which searches are worth chasing in Burlington and Camden County. Medford is ten minutes away and Cherry Hill about thirty, so meeting in person is usually an option rather than a production. The areas we serve page lists the towns I work in most.
What a client says
My experience with Samu Interactive has been outstanding. They helped us get our store online and honestly made the whole process way easier than I expected. Brian was super helpful and actually listened to what we wanted instead of doing his own thing. Our website looks great and we're already getting more sales.. I'd definitely recommend Samu Interactive if you need a website done right.
