About The Client

Based in Marlton, New Jersey, Nilson Remodeling specializes in Bathrooms, Kitchens, Interior/Exterior Painting, Whole Home Remodeling, Custom Carpentry, Flooring, and Drywall Repair/Finishing. With a desire to grow their web presence, they came to Samu Interactive with a clear goal: increase inbound leads through a new, rebranded website.

The Site Didn't Match the Business

The previous website was a WordPress theme built around stock photography and a single promise: home remodeling to fit any budget. It sold on price for a company that competes on craftsmanship. It still listed an Ocean County address and service area long after the business had settled in Marlton and built its client base across Burlington and Camden County. And because stock images stood in for the work, the site never showed the best argument the business had: the finished projects themselves.

So the rebrand started with the positioning. Premium remodeling, built on precision, focused on results, with Dave's own project photography carrying the message instead of a stock photo of somebody else's job site.

The Portfolio Does The Selling

Homeowners choose a remodeler by looking at finished work, so the portfolio became the center of the site rather than a gallery page tacked onto the end of it.

Every project gets its own page: how the job actually went, a before-and-after comparison, the full scope of work, project highlights, and a gallery that runs past thirty photos when the job earns it. Visitors filter by trade: bathrooms, kitchens, painting, flooring, drywall, exterior. Every project is anchored to a real South Jersey town.

Custom Content Management System (CMS)

Nilson Remodeling needed a fully responsive, fast loading website where they were in full control of the content published.

Dave photographs his jobs as he finishes them, so publishing had to be something he could do from the truck. The CMS takes photos straight off his phone, resizes and converts them automatically, and handles ordering, captions, and before-and-after pairing. Tagging a project with a trade adds it to that filter, that service page, and the sitemap in the same action. No developer, no ticket, no waiting.

Estimates That Arrive Ready To Quote

A phone number and a contact box put all of the work on the first phone call. The estimate request form asks for project type, timeline, budget range, town, a description of the work, and up to eight photos of the space.

Dave now walks into the first conversation already knowing whether the job is a fit and roughly what he is looking at. And a homeowner willing to fill all of that out is a homeowner who is serious.

Built To Be Found

Search was part of the structure, not a pass at the end. Each of the eleven trades gets its own scope and realistic timeline, every project page pairs a trade with a real town in the service area, the business details are correct in the structured data, and the sitemap picks up new work the moment it is published. Pages are server rendered and images ship as WebP, so the site loads fast on a phone in a driveway with one bar.
